STUDIO RECORDING
Capture your sound crystal-clear in one of our acoustically-engineered studios with our in-house producer Lukas Bohacek. Our engineer will find and place the best microphone(s) for your voice or instrument from our extensive collection of top-line microphones and can record both analog and digital on our Solid State Logic console in the control room.
MASTERING
Inspect and modify the sound equalization to package the most robust sound for it's intended platform. Recordings can be mastered for digital streaming services, production of vinyl/cd/tape, live performances or for specific projects or environments.
FULL PRODUCTION PACKAGES
Chill Kill can bring your album, EP or demo from creative vision to tangible reality in all stages of production. From pre-planning, composition to recording, arrangement, mixing and finally mastering- we offer full all-inclusive packages that include everything you need so your music sounds it's absolute best and professionally formatted/mastered for any environment- from commercial radio, PA club sound-systems to online streaming services.
PODCAST RECORDING + PRODUCTION
Record, edit and produce your own podcasts and interviews in our dedicated podcast studio. Podcast studio includes a host station with monitoring, mixing and editing capabilities and podcast-specific hardware and four additional guest microphone setups for interviews and group dialogues.
MIXING
Qualities like volume, tone, pitch can all be controlled and adjusted. Each layer of sound is optimized independently then blended together to make a acoustically balanced song.
COMPOSITION + ARRANGEMENT
Our producer Lukas Bohacek will collaborate with you by composing or arranging layers of music or sounds to add to your recordings for a fully finished song.
VOICE ACTING/ VOICEOVER
Tell your story, narrate commercials or bring an animated character to life with clear, wide-range voiceovers and voice acting in our acoustically-engineered vocal booth.
COLLABORATIVE + WORKSHOP LOUNGE
Collaborate and connect with your team, plan out your next project or unwind after a recording session in our collaboration lounge. Whether it's teaching a workshop or sharing your video project or process, we have a classroom-sized whiteboard, digital projector, flatscreen television and large conference-style table for classes and meetings.
This space is also modular and adaptable to your needs, with a kitchen attached for social events, food + drink prep
and a full-size secret billiard table.
AUDIO PRODUCTION CLASSES + WORKSHOPS
Whether you're a total beginner or a music pro already, we offer a full range of educational programs, either as private one-on-one music lessons or small group classes.
Learn the ins and outs of recording equipment and hardware, microphone placement/types, live and digital recordings, arrangement, mastering and optimize your workflow in music software including Ableton Live, Pro Tools and FL Studio.
